@Hennie84, the 2.5D4-D 70, 76 and 105kW engines were the same. Just tuned differently for the various models. Hilux single-cabs (workhorses), Hilux double-cab 4x2 (only one year) and Fortuners.
That is why they can easily be tuned to higher levels without stressing the engine. Jumping from 76 to 105kw made an enormous difference to me (especially overtaking).

Played with this monster G Wagon 350 cdi today.
Was worked on by another tuner.
And well, let's just leave it there.
Had underboost errors and CAT's were stolen out so we updated the software with that delete.
But alas first had to write an Original file to see what was actually deleted, as there was a limp mode without an engine light or code.

Eventually Traced the fault to a faulty turbo actuator.
Replaced that updated the sofrware and all sorted.
This was not an easy one to trace, but we stuck to it and prevailed....

Seems the Tiguan's were also not spared the dreaded EGR issues.
It only took two blanking plates to remove all this hardware. 🤪
Happy chappy now nie more water and exhaust gasses mixing.

Silverton was also nice and busy, a Pajero sport in for a stage 1 EGR
And one of favorites to work on, the Freelander 2, also a stage 1 with egr blank.

V8 Cruiser in for a stage 1. Did a mild one just on the limit of the std clutch! We'll be fitting the TT HD clutch next year and update the mapping..
Egr blank and upper intake clean should be standard when you touch these.....
He already has a DeGraaf freeflow fittes so the cruiser has a nice growl to her when you open the throttle....

Thank you Mike for doing the tune on my Pajero Sport
Was a pleasure to meet you.

Travelled from Pretoria to Benoni and doddled around town today.

Stage 1 tune is really nice - alot more power throughout the rev range and seems a lot happier to rev. Much more drivable and I would say that initial turbo lag on driving off is probably 80% better

Will check the fuel consumption after i have done a couple of refills.

    Vehicle feels really lively

    Will keep you posted

Midrand played with some awesome toys this past week.

Mercedes E220cdi got a stage 2 with EGR blank. What an absolute amazing change in response and power.

    SAAB 9-3 1.9 tdi, a great stage 1 with awesome. E power.

Volvo V40 T5, new stainless steel exhaust and a stage 2 to match.

Also had a V6 Touareg in for DPF software deletion.

    Goodness.
We do a lot of them
My branch in Peru only does the P series and the JAC T8..

    We have a stage 1 stage 1+
Dpf delete and vmax delete available, that actually works, not like some of our competitors claim but the have issues with cruise control etc.

The 2.5 D4D SRX 4x4 was available with the so called "Hi" engine which delivers 75 kW and 260 nm of torque, standard.

The 2.5 VNT (106 kW and 343 nm) engine was only available in the Hilux 2.5 D4D Raider 2x4 and 2.5 D4D Fortuner 2x4.

The difference in power is because of an added VNT turbo and intercooler in the 106 Kw models.

So I do not chase numbers with the 2.0l's
Youll just end up with a head that is shot or a turbo issues.
Our Stage 1 gives you a healthy 25kW and 85Nm extra.
But with a throttle response to match.
Thus reducing you turbo lag considerably!

We can also go a little stronger with a stage 1+ 30kW and 100Nm is easily obtained...
