So after 30kW and 110Nm gains this 1.9 Isuzu almost feels like a 3.0 after it soendlt the day in Silverton!
Considerable reduction in the turbo lag.
    And responsive on demand.

    Good, safe, reliable power.

    Hi Andre

Yes, thank you very much a big reduction in turbo lag from pull away. Can’t wait to test the car on the open road and towing.
I drove a 3.0 for two weeks in September so can compare the power differences nicely.

Amarok 120kW with 344kkm came in to Silverton for an EGR blank

We removed the cooler and bypassed it as well. Blanked both sides of the engine. So this old girl is ready to rumble!! Click image for larger version.

Midrand had this Hilux 4.0l in earlier this week.
Freeflow and branches already done, so a Stage 2 tune was a no brainer.
This will make for a much smoother power delivery and an absolute joy on the highway.

I'm genuinely impressed with the results of the ECU remap on my x3 m40D. In its standard configuration, it took 5.05 seconds to an 100km/h on a relatively cool day. Post-tune, even on a hot day with a full diesel tank, I've clocked it at 4.6 seconds. I believe with more favorable conditions – a cooler day and a nearly empty tank – it could potentially reach 4.4 seconds. The difference is truly noticeable!

With today's tech one can easily customize a vehicle's mapping exactly as you want it if enough time and effort is spend on it.

The issues with the old mapping are as follows,

    *Smoking under full throttle
*Power dips in low and high rev range particularly when the switching happens between the two turbos.
*Fuel consumption while towing was worse than standard
*EGR was not removed from the map although the previous tuner swears it was

Then last week it happened, I got a notification to attend meeting in JHB on Monday and could finally get this sorted. Benson send me Mikebob's number and we arranged the booking. Pulled in, greetings, hook up the computer with Benson on the other end and viola. Done within 30min.

As we have been chatting for the while he knew what has been done hardware wise and what I wanted so a stage 2 map was loaded. On the drive home it felt like there was something extra going on. Apart from the above fault list being rectified and even more power on tap everything felt smoother. I called Benson and asked "Did you map the gearbox?" and he replied "Of coarse, we do everything".

This was a huge surprise as most tuners charge for the motor and gearbox mapping separately and for him to do it together speaks volumes of the commitment of the company to their product. The ZF box in the amarok was already a step above the rest and now it's even better.

Thanks for the time and effort Andre & Mike, you have a very happy customer.
Some additional feedback after covering 6000km since the remap. I'm now constantly getting 90km extended range out of every tank. When driving within limits at 128kph on the gps that extra range grows to 130km which means the tune will pay for itself.

    Thanks again Benson and Mike.

    Third car for this customer.
Bought it in a week after purchase. Complaining that it feels lazy and boring.
They do a lot of kilos with their bakkies, and the power and consumption is just perfect their business.

    Hi Andre,
    Feedback after a few months.
1200 km trip, mountain and flat driving. Car stays in 6th at 1900rpm at 120kph, GPS reading. When changing down you can see it only does to stay in the torque range. 9.5l/100, confirming 1.5 liters/100km improvement.
great thing is no more hunting between 5th and 6th. pleasure to drive.
