    Hyundai H1 Crd
Very lazy out the blocks, not responsive between gear changes lazy to gear down when requested.
Stage 1 eco for this one. With some gearbox adaptions.

This being a delivery vehicle economy is important! But power and drivability is just as essential. Click image for larger version.

    Toyota Torque Converter Lockup Kits
So we've been playing around with the 200 Cruisers and the 2.8GD6 Hilux gearbox mapping.
The responsiveness from 1st-4th is quick and smooth, 5th gear holds a little and 6th gear eases into lockup quicker than usual.
Tapping the throtlle provides instant power and no issues with gearing back.

This said, we have found that with this setup the Torque converter lockup kit really brings this whole setup together nicely on open road cruising. 6th gear lockups from as low as 80km/h with the torque to match.
We offer two options for this.
    1. Straight install, where we splice into some wiring on the harnass (very little) Price for this is R14500 (kit + Labour)
    2. Plug and play module, This is a module that plugs into the ECU and everything else plugs int that. R17985 (Kit + Labour)

Along with this we also offer for the 200 series
Upper Intake clean R3250 (With All new Steel Gaskets)
EGR blank R500 (plates Labour is incl in the Intake Clean)
    Stage 1 or 2 Remap R4250
    Stage 2 Gearbox map R3250
    Oil Catch Can R3250 (fitted)
    Viper Freeflow exhaust R13500 (Fitted)

Our new branch in Peru is up and running.
Their first P - series done and dusted.
What an amazing difference this makes to this 2.0l turbo.
Turbo lag just about gone, DPF and EGR deleted, hardware and software! As well as the speedlimter removal.
Most feedback from these we are seeing is that the cruise control now doesn't work and there issues with gearing when overtaking.
Well, not with our software upgrade.
    Good reliable safe power.

Our Silverton branch also had a good looking Mahindra Karoo in.
Awesome cars to work on, and they take really well to a nice Stage 1 tune.

He did his tour the last few weeks through the country, tuning vehicles and helping people, he even ended up here with me to have a look at my 79, which I believed had a problem even thou everyone said it was good, even the dyno run showed it to be all ok.

Andre didn't like what he saw on the dyno graph and agreed that something was a bit off, even thou it was making power, 649 Nm of it.
He mapped my vehicle and it was good, pulled like it should and run with out any problems. We left it there.
A few days later, some 300km later, the vehicle started going into limp mode, Andre was back in the Cape at this stage but was very helpful over the phone. With out running away from the problem or making excuses of any sort, he then, at his own cost, sent his laptop up to me to diagnosed the problem, which was not easy to do as it wasn't a obvious one.
After multiple runs, re mapping a few times moving parameters, gathering information, ext he eventually found the problem.
The problem was sticking turbo vanes causing way too high boost levels, which is not a bad thing but unregulated it can cause havoc.
All of his time and help and he didn't charge me a cent for it.

Well done to you Andre and good work finding the problem that no one believed me was there, not even the dyno.

I wish you all the best for the future and the very best for your business. Keep up the good honest work Andre, you have a good name in the business, for obvious reasons.
    Getting back to this.

It has been 3 months now of nothing but fun in my vehicle, running better than ever.
I have been in contact with Benson and asked him for a bit more, bit more powerrrr when is it ever enough?

Running 33's one can feel the turbo coming in a bit later than normal on stock tyres, around 1800 rpm and really kicks off at 2000rpm, my driving style needs it to come in earlier than that, and the 33's wasn't helping the issue.

With out hesitation Andre replied, "of cause we can play, no problem"

First he loaded a map that brought big smiles and joy but there was a wee bit of smoke before full boost was reached, I have to say torque is very much addictive!!
Smoke is not something Custom Tuning does, smoke is just unburned fuel, so sadly according to Andre that was not the map to be used.

The map was modified and we tried again, smoke mostly gone but the power wasn't quit the same. One has to understand, simply put on a diesel that power comes from fuel and boost basically. You can't have the one with out the other.
Of cause I complained straight away about the loss of power.

Map modified and off we went again, a bit better, but now I was running out of acceleration after 3500 rpm.... map modified again using all of my previous data that he collected.

The current map he has loaded is really amazing, no smoke at all, pulls like a train and revs through the rev range with ease, all the way to the redline, never knew a Cruiser had a redline to be honest. But it reaches it with ease now.

Best thing about the remap is that the power comes in at around 1500/1600 rpm and never drops down, all the way to 4000 rpm, you can't even feel the turbo coming in, there is just power all the time through the rev range.

Thank you Andre for listening to my requests (pulling your hair out) and magically making it happen as I wanted it, it is really much appreciated.

I am willing to take a bet that there is no other tuning company that can do what Andre did to my vehicle, there is no one that can give you full power from 1500 rpm all the way through the rev range, and that on 33's !!

This is where Andre stands out from the rest, he doesn't have one stock map that he uses for every vehicle, the maps are custom tuned, see where the company name comes from) to each vehicle and requirements.
Each vehicle is different, and they are not all the same and defiantly doesn't react the same to tuning.
Andre takes time to get it right.

Have to agree here!!! We have been playing with my 200 for a while now, specifically with the gearbox (have a stage 2 on already).

Those of you that have driven a 200 will know, the bloody thing does not have a six gear. It is immensely frustrating that you have to charge past 120, then take your foot off the throttle for it to lock up in 6th. Have been playing with a few maps, and it seems we might have found a good one.

Will report once I have done a longish trip where I can properly test it

This is a map that I have been working on and playing with for a while now. Getting that right without smoke was the main aim, as there are other companies that brag about those figures, but you can't see the traffic behind you..... and not every vehicle is the same, so there are some adjustments from one to the other.

Looking forward to your feedback after the GTG...

Yes for the 200 Series we can now do a really really good stage 2 gearbox map as well.
Fast through the gears, and more responsive to gear back, but happy to sit in 6th and stay in 6th, unless the foot requests it...

132 kW Amarok 2.0l in for an awesome Stage 1, EGR blank and CAT delete.

Great vehicle to work on. And the upgrade is not only to gain more power, by to assure the longevity of the engine wohout the worries of CAT blocking or an EGR stating to leak.

Really good power from this 2.0l, turbo lag reduced to practically zero. And with the speedlimter removal she's just pulls and pulls and pulls.......
