Also maybe drop a line to Keith Newman on this forum. He has trail camera's all over the west coast looking for Brownies. He may have pics of Caracal and where they were spotted.

Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

I believe a caracal was 'rewilded' at Zimanga Private Game Reserve, so that might be worth a shot. Otherwise you could try Emdoneni near Hluhluwe though I can't vouch for how legit they are.

Earth Touch have also filmed caracals in the past and offer logistics and production services so you could reach out to them: https://www.earthtouchnews.com/about-us/logistics-production-services

Thanks Ian. I filmed the rewinding process at Zimanga last year. Unfortunately that caracal has not been seen in a while. I'm in contact with Emdoneni. I'll drop Earth Touch an email.

There's a resident caracal at Storms River. He regularly hunts hyrax in the area in front of the camping grounds at around sunset.
