Default VSC cuts in at 2500rpm + vibration

Wondering if anyone has some thoughts on a new issue that has just started on my 2009, 3 D4D. Up until its latest service (200 000) been running without issue. Now, when revs go above 2500 (~) the VSC cuts in. At the same time there is a vibration that starts at around 80km/hr and gets worse the faster it goes. It stops when foot off accelerator. I think we have ruled out a wheel/alignment/balancing related issue (checked discs, new brake pads, new tyres, full alignment and balancing).

Would appreciate any thoughts or theories to check. Google searches suggest possible air or fuel flow constraints - but don’t know how that causes vibration.

Check the propshafts. Universal Joint failure can cause vibrations.

Rebalanced the propshafts (and also replaced air flow meter) - drives like new. Many thanks.
