    I will do so.
I am having a nudge bar made for my Navara, and it should be ready during next week, and then I will install the spots.

Once done and tested, I will write a mini report.

As you know I bought the 9" ones but they were just too big and I asked Autostyle if I can swop them for 7" ones. Took about a week for the replacements to arrive but I can comment that I received excellent service. Fitted them last night and I am very satisfied with the initial results of the amount of light and quality. I think the size is just right on the Patrol. I moved them right back and about 2cm more to the center from the holes already in the bulbar to align with the vertical lines of the Nissan grill and to minimize the reduction of airflow. Now I can see where I am going

    Good day

Which will be better for mainly driving on national roads and not in the bush. The driving or the spot lights from Hella in the valuefit range.
I am leaning towards spot lights but not sure how small or big the spot is. In my mind it is less effective to see a spot in the distance than a flood of light closer?

If you google Hella value fit, there is a load of information on the lights. Driving and spotlights.
There is a diagram that shows you the beam spread, and the distance.

On my BT50 I have a light bar, and 2 spots.
Driving at night on the roads, when I use them it is like daylight.

On my Navara, I am only installing spotlights, so when I drive through the areas where cattle, piccanins and goats wander into the road, I can see them from 400 metres away.

    Thanks for your response.
I saw the diagram but I never really trust as advertised.
So I wanted a bit of real life input. Thanks again for that.

A LED spot light always make a good flood light too.
With the flood, it will be flood only no distance.
I have always found that a LED spot light is better than a flood light, you get distance and plenty enough flood light to light up what you need to see.

I agree - the spots are not pencil beams but actually gives a great spread as well as distance - would love to compare them to the LED driving lights to see the difference.

Although my spots came with a wiring harness, I bought larger capacity wires to do my loom. Suppose being a Sparky I over sized my wires ie 6mm from battery to separate fuse box, 4mm from fuse box through relay to spots, 2mm control wire from vehicke brights to inside switch to spots relay. Over kill but at least I can add more spots if necessary as I have also a second relay wired same way as I once had 4 halogen spots mounted before replacing with one set of Hella led spots. Maybe I must wire in a set of fog lights.
