Hi members,
I currently live in St Helena Bay, West Coast and are the proud owner of a recently purchase 2018 VW Amarok 2.0 BiTDI 4 Motion Highline Auto with 19,000km on the clock. Any issues I need to look out for on the Amarok.

You really should be very careful and pay close attention to this:
Don’t enjoy it too much!

Nothing to look out for except for this. Have the transmission oil changed and box serviced every 90k km. Apart from that stick to service intervals and requirements and you will have many enjoyable and trouble free kilometers.

Change the timing belt at 90k and not 120k
Do an EGR delete. Apparently, they can cause HUGE problems. Then replace the CAM belt and do a gearbox service at 100000km, regardless of what VW says. Lastly join the Amarok Offroad club!
