Consumption towing between 12-13l/100km. Consumption every other day between 12-13l/100km. At least it is consistently bad hahaClick image for larger version.

My towing combination this weekend. Helped a friend move - to be frank, the 2.2 mhawk Pik-up was a better tow vehicle than the 3.0D4D by quite a margin. The Tuna did its thing, but low-down torque is scarce and manoeuvring the trailer up a steep driveway was not pleasant.. Fuel consumption was around 12.5L/100km - more than the Pik-up. I do miss it sometimes.

My slightly overkill combination (until I get an EB license anyways) - V8 tdi + an invisible boot extender. Makes for an easy +- 8 l/100 km though

Apologies! Should have indicated that it is the towing average.

Average on the open road without the trailer is 8,9km/l.

    Here are my two.

My Dad took my Isuzu over from me middle of last year. Did a very happy 280k km with it. Towed my Conqueror very very well.

Tested the Bushlapa Baobab last weekend with the family. My Hilux averaged 10.3l/100km driving between 100-110kph. Like the auto for towing these days.
