Default I dont know if I want it or not....

I guess we see a lot of overlanders on this forum, but I never quite imagined one like this.

I half want it, half dont want it.

I very much want the front half, but would much prefer a built in camper on the back.

Great for long term travel, perhaps full time overlanding. The fact that the unit can be detached adds a layer of practicality. E.g. Leaving camper behind while exploring tighter and tougher tracks. It's tacky, but I suspect that those LEDs are rgbs, meaning the color can be changed to a warmer white. I wonder what they are selling it for...

I guess they'll try sell it for crazy money to try recoup what they spent on it, but in reality I doubt there will be a big market for such a thing.

    Question:
Do I cancel my house build project at the coast and rather buy this monster?

With you on the long term camping part, issue is the trailer doesnt look rugged enough for the normal gravel road, let alone a trip to Namibia or Botswana. The trailer needs to be smaller and more offroad orientated, and the Iveco needs a canopy, and will be an amazing offroad / long term touring rig.

Ive been thinking about this for awhile.

Why own a second beach home when you can have something like this, albeit, with some improvements, and then travel where ever you want on holiday.

I'm sure some will find it appealing to sit in Botswana next to a pan watching National Geographic on TV under the aircon.

Can you imagine trying to back down a sandy track to give some room to an “excited” elephant bull??

Yeah I would get rid of the TV - not sure about the aircon.

Can that thing in front of it be driven with a normal light vehicle licence?

I guess not, in which case more value can be had if you for example take 100-150k and buy a single diff Mercedes horse in good condition, take a single axle flatbed and build a “house” on that.
