Default Taking on the Ga -Ma Trails (By Invite) 23rd April to 1st May 2022

    The ultimate trail trip:

If anyone has been following Bex's thread, https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum...he-adventurous, you would have seen that he has hand-built some trails..

Some easy, some tough, and some... let's say challenging.

Last year, we had a short trip to Klein Pella, and to Bex, and we explored some of the trails. https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum...pe)?highlight=
with the time constraints we had, we could not do all the trails.

And some of the trails were not suited to the team that joined (meant in the most sincere way, based on vehicles that attended)

In the mean time, Bex as is his nature, has developed some more.... let's say challenging trails. (There is even an obstacle that has not been conquered yet)

So, in the tradition of "accepting the challenge", this year we decided to send invites, and assemble a team to take on these trails.

And, most importantly, we allocated us enough time to do ALL the trails.

Out of the 17 people I sent invites too, only one, said he/she cannot make it

The team accepting the challenge is:

    1. Angelique Trollop - Jeep Wrangler
    2. Bob Ramage - FJ
    3. Charl van der Westhuisen - LC79
    4. Johan van der Westhuisen - Defender 90 2.8
    5. Dirk Theron - FJ
    6. Grant van Staden - Defender 90 TDi
    7. Heimrich - LC 80
    8. Robert vd Berg - Rocky
    9. Kevin Whal - Haval H9
    10. Hedgehog - FJ
    11. Jors Malan - FJ (The Challenge Master)

This thread, will be telling the story, of this ultimate trail challenge...

The more FJs that are thrown at the challenge, the greater the chances of one making it?

As I read this, some words of Golden Earring's "Radar Love" came to mind:

"No more speed, I'm almost there
Gotta keep cool, now gotta take care
Last car to pass, here I go
And the line of cars go down real slow, woah"

I'll be following this - ENJOY!!!

By the looks of it we can have a "Highest fuel consumption" contest. Winner gets 1 antidepressant tablet.
    Couple of VW's for tar.
Phillemon the cruiser - It drinks too much then misses work for a month at a time but hey, it's got a kort stokkie.

Don't throw away the cruiser EFI's, they can fulfill the need for antidepressants and viagra simultaneously.

You've got it all wrong... When the petrol is flowing out of the tanks, that is just miles and miles of smiles. When it gets empty, brim 'em up, and rinse and repeat.
