    Yes, they also do that: https://www.sanbi.org/animal-of-the-week/boomslang/. But the example in question appeared 'half dead'; snakes are often lethargic during digestion.

    Boomslang colours vary from area's yes. From green, to pitch black.

    Puffed up because angry yes.

    Try using ASI - African Snakebite Instute.com
    They have an app that you can use to request an ID of the snake.
    Just search Google for ASI snake app.
    They also do training.
