    Caterpillar bulldozer, blade and ripper moves with springs inside the rams and the tracks and wheels move , not perfect but acceptable to me 😳

    Close to the beginning of the second world war, Ford decided that they also wanted a slice of the aero engine pie.

    They developed an all-aluminium 27L V12 engine with 4 valves per cylinder (this may sound very familiar to anybody who knows the Merlin engine fitted to the Spitfire and so many others, and also the Alison V1610). But by the time they got it running Packard were already building the Merlin under license and the USAF were not interested.

    So they cut 4 cylinders of, turning it into a V8. This engine was used in a number of tanks (some models of the Sherman among others). After the war it was very popular in "truck pulling" competition. It was called the GAA if you want to look it up.

    Seems like you have done the same...



    But seriously though, these models of yours are superb!
    Beat-up rat rod of a '96 Nissan Patrol that bears the evidence of many wonderful adventures (and a few stupid indiscretions).
