    Default Flying Cemair

Has anybody been using them lately?
I remember from the past that I did not hear good things, and also negative reviews on Halopeter.
I would not normally use them but they are the only one that has a flight in the time slot that I need to fly from Jhb to George.

Used them a few weeks ago to fly to Margate. Was convenient, got snacks. The plane was smallish compared to Kulula and pricy. However if I had to calculate parking and fuel for SWAMBO to fetch me at King Chaka and the time then reasonable. No issues.

It looks like my previous reply vanished.

I use them regularly for the GRG to JHB and back, last one was on Friday the 19th.
I currently prefer them above Kulula, they are on time with friendly service.

Have flown in both 100 and 50 seaters between CPT and JHB.
    No issues or problems.
However, the 50 seater does have limited overhead storage.

Sitting in King Shaka on a 30 minute delay. Flew with them for the first time last week back from Joburg, 45 minute delay. So far they're consistently poor. Delayed 100% of the time and zero communication despite then having our cell numbers. Not a happy camper.

CAA have been doing their SAA inspired trick of trying to get them out so I would not be surprised if their slots at Tambo or Lanseria are messed around with. This will result in delays if they are bumped down the list.

CAA has successfully dispatched 1 Time, Comair and Kulula which will be to the advantage of the to be short lived SAA revival.

They tried with Cemair and Safair, failed but hurt them.

But Cemair are also their own worst enemies. They're slapgat about onboard luggage, people getting on board with bags double the allowed size. They're holding flights for late passengers. Their planes are dinky little things to start with, so they're being silly. They need to fix their own house too. I won't fly with them again if I can possibly help it.
