Thanks for your replies and local knowledge. So a little bit more information about my trip. This was originally planned for sept 2020 but covid put payed to that, so as the UK has finally opened up travel to SA I am now rushing to to do in 4 months what should have taken a lot longer, and planning may have to change due to the different time of year (Feb not Sept).
Flights are booked and so is the vehicle (Toyota Hilux Camper).
I will be picking up in Joburg on 6th Feb and will spend the first 2 nights at Glen Afric Countrty Lodge. That is all i have booked so far. Planned itinery is as follows

6,7 Feb - Arrive Joburg stay at Glen Afric Lodge

8 Feb – Khama Rhino Sanctuary

    9,10 and 11 Feb – CKGR – Kalahari (3 Camps up north)

12 Feb – Boteti River Camp / Kumaga (Makgadikgadi Pans)

    13 Feb – Nxai Pans(Baines Baobab) (MUD??)

    14 Feb – Maun

    15-16 Feb– Third Bridge (Moremi)

17 Feb – Khwai Community Camp

18-19 Feb – Savuti (Chobe National Park)

20 Feb – Ihaha ( Chobe National Park)

    21 Feb – Kasane

    22 Feb – Nata Lodge

    23 Feb

    24 Feb

    25 Feb

26 Feb - Half Way to Johannesburg or in Johannesburg Half Way to Johannesburg or in Johannesburg

    27 Feb Fly Home

This is my plan so your thoughts, questions or concerns would be greatly appreciated. also as you can see i have 3 days unplanned so any ideas for extensions to existing stays or ideas for other camps would be great.
I need to be a bit careful about getting stuck somewhere really remote as I am travelling solo. I have done this before, 3 weeks across Namibia, and have off- roaded for years so fixing things and making do comes naturally.

    hope you can help
    Wayne

I remember exactly what happened this year February. As I left Xakanaxa to Savuti, I had to drive to South Gate and Xakanaxa was waterlogged. As we left Khwai, it was announced that Moremi was temporarily closed until further notice.
Not scaring you but havι Plan B Incase the same happens this year as the rainfall yearly forecast indicate more rainfall again this year. So, just in case, just have plan B…That would involve camping outside Moremi….

I would schedule 2 nights in Kasane to allow leisurely game drive from Ihaha to Kasane to arrive at Kasane at sunset. The river trips from Kasane (morning or evening) are highlights. I would do a morning trip (with Pangolin Safari if you are a keen photographer) and then have sunset drinks overlooking the river (Perhaps at Chobe Safari lodge) then off to Nata the next day.
