    Default Nissan NP300 Bakie 1990

    The recall on the airbags.
Nissan H/O says was done by Andre's Nissan in Ficksburg according to the VIN number.
The dealer closed down more than a year ago.
The bakkie was last serviced and stamped in 2016.
Bakkie has only 90k k/m. On the clock
    So blatant fraud
What does dad do now as the work was never done.
Who do we take this problem to?

I doubt that a 1990 model had airbags............

Did Nissan have a Np 300 in 1990? I donít recall that, thought it was still the square shape.

No they didn't, it was the D21. We called it the Hardbody. Airbags were only fitted on overseas models in 1995. Never fitted on that model in ZA.

It's got airbags. Maybe dad got the model wrong he be close to 90 now.
Has got SRS on the dash and steering wheel. I'll tell him to flog it and buy a new one.

Fear of air bags exploding when they should not.

Ok, I remember. I drove a borrowed 2,7 diesel for about 2 weeks in Zululand in about 1995. Was very sluggish. Bad on sand. Rusted quite easily as well. I got the impression the mechanicals were more robust than the body

Spliff, you dont wanna hear it, and yes I also think its unfair/stupid, putting oil in the thing has nutting to do with an SRS recall.........BUT Nissan IS gonna flog you on this I think.
On the other hand, Nissan SA says they HAVE done the recall.......how do you know its hasnt been done (sorry stupid vraag)

    Awesome thanks Petrie. It's a 2010 model.
