    Default 2011 3l 4x4 diff seal

    Hi guys.
I am contemplating replacing the seal on the rear diff input.
I saw some leak marks under the diff. I am not sure yet, whether it is only water and dust, or if there is oil involved.
Anyone out there have the size of the seal please?

Investigate if your diff breather is not clogged.

Had a leaking diff on my Landy, was advised to check the breather and found it was clogged. Cleaned it out and the leak "went away"

Leaking pinion seal can also be due (at times) to a pinion bearing starting collapse.

As mentioned, investigate if the diff breather is not blocked. Look inside the fuel filler door, just to the right of the filler cap is a small(too small) little thingy. That is where the diff breather "breathes". My kb300 diff is sweating a lot because this breather is to small. I need to reroute to the engine bay sometime when the arthritis and "skete" allow.
