    Default Testing MAF Sensor

What's the best way to TEST whether the MAF is getting power or not? "Unplug it" isn't the solution. Need to establish IF there is power TO, thus reading FROM would be helpful.

The part number for the sensor is 22204-20010.

    I have a multimeter.

IMHO a bit of a useless test and waste of time. The probability of there not being power TO the MAF is probably a 1000 times less than a faulty MAF. Reading FROM is difficult and impractical.

Best way is with a diagnostic computer. Problem is that it doesn't often fail in a way that can be detected with a multimeter. It has hot wire sensors that get contaminated, so they don't go open or short circuit, they just don't do their job properly.
