    Default Caravan license visibility

    Hi everyone.

I spoke to someone this morning and he said he puts his license disk in the door of the fridge compartment inside the caravan as people steal the discs.

Is this legal? Is it different than with vehicles where the disk should be inside the window and visible?

    Thanks!

    Jaco

Can't you mount disc on one of the windows?

    Default Caravan license visibility

    Hi Jaco

Trailer and caravan licenses that are attached externally are often stolen. I used to place the license on the side window of the caravan and then inside the door of the off-road trailer. When stopped, I simply opened the side door of the trailer to show the license and this was always acceptable to the traffic police in SA and neighbouring countries.

If the caravan has windows, putting on the inside of one of the windows works.

Thank you so much. It is a bush van without windows. If the traffic cops allow it like this I am going to do it as you do. Appreciated

Make sure it's a good copy. Never the original.
