    Default Charging iPad with inverter

    Hi there,

My wife recently bought an iPad which we will be taking to the bush with us shortly. The iPad does not come standard with a 12V charger. I was wonder whether charging it through a normal modified sinewave inverter will be ok or will there be a risk of damage to the iPad? I seem to recall that with the modified sinewave inverters there's a slight risk with some appliances.

Anyone with experience with this? Probably simpler to just buy a 12V charger but it will be interesting to know anyway.

    Regards

Agree, just get a good quality 12V USB charger which can supply at least 2 amps if not more. Cigarette lighter socket, hella, whatever you have available in your vehicle.
