    Default Roratau Bushcamp

Really enjoyed a few days at Roratau Bushcamp! Lions, jackal and hyena calling at night. Cycling, hiking and horse riding possible and lovely hosts in Rob and Elsabe!

Funny that. I know Rob and Elsie via mutual friends and shared a few drinks with them through the years but somehow never managed to get around to camping at their place yet. Definitely on my bucket list!

We were there last weekend. Will definitely recommend it.

Are they a fair distance from each other? Don't mind seeing some of my neighbours, just don't want to trip over their guy ropes in my campsite.

Yes they are. You will see each other but are in seperate spaces so no tripping!

Great stuff, thanks Mark. And there seems quite a bit of shade in most campsites. Looking at going in December.

Yes there is. Also a small plunge pool next to the covered braai area. The two sites with the private ablutions would be the furthest away from other campers.

The bigger and secluded Vlakvark is our favorite stand.

We love this place. Pity grass is very sparse.

Because of my covid-state we just cancelled this long weekend, Vlakvark would have been great

No point trying to be a hero.

The booking will be up for grabs if anyone is interested , unless Rob and Elsie has a waiting list, won’t be surprised.

What makes you say this? I'm sure I still saw adds and shares from them earlier this week or last weekend on Facebook.
