    Default Roberts Bird app

Does anyone know how you transfer your sightings list from one phone to another?
The app has transferred to my new phone, but not my sightings list. Itís showing zero.
The thought of manually capturing each tick is making me dizzy 🥴

This link should explain the process that you will need to follow. Good luck.

    Hi There,
Iím actually in a similar position right now. Getting my new phone soon, but would like to get the Robert Bird app installed now already. From your post, Iím assuming you can transfer your app to your new phone without having to purchase it again? And one can get their sightings list transferred too?

    Hi:
Rogdog already provided clarity on the process to be followed.

If you for example owned an iPhone in the past and now bought a Samsung, you need to purchase another App. The reason is that the phones operate on different operating platforms.

... so my wife downloaded Roberts App by using these Apple Cards one can buy at stationers etc
Now I want to also use it on my phone via the 'Family Sharing' option...
... but system seems to ask for full Credit Card details etc which we are not prepared to do ...

Is there a way round this ?

I find Binos and a Good Bird Field Guide perfect and add any new birds to my old list which I started in 1958 as an 8 year old

As said, yes you can, however, the names are then in Afrikaans as well as a short summary - Geslagte, Status, Habitat, Kos, Roep, Br. wyse en Name. Then it reverts back to English providing further detailed info - which is fine. Even the short summary provides more detail than what the other apps have on the birds which I briefly looked at for this response.
