    Default Ethiopia fills the dam

    Apparently the 8 GW hydroelectric dam is now overflowing

    the 8 gw puts it at about 6th biggest in the world

    about 1 third of the china dam

    hopefully it can change that area of africa for the good

    the dam is not complete however. It is only the second stage which is now complete. Next dry season the wall will be raised for the 3rd stage taking it to its max height.

    Apperently Katse caused some seismic activity when they filled it. But Im sure the engineers and geologists took that into account, in both cases?

    This dam and the Congo river could probably power the whole continent. The 2 biggest problems being distribution, and politics. Egyt isnt very happy right now
