Wys bietjie jou brood...maak nie saak watter metode jy gebruik nie.
Hier is so mengsel van brode wat ek gemaak het met die volgende metodes...Houtstoof, blikbrood in die elektriese oond en my gunsteling..direk op die vuur in n swart pot. Moes vir n vriend van my brood maak vir die broodtafel by sy troue...sommer al die potte en panne ingespan.

Hierdie is Matt Preston van Masterchef Australia se brood resep.
Ekt dit al baie gemaak, dis altyd 'n wenner. Dit verg wel bietjie beplanning aangesien die deeg oornag in die yskas moet wees.
Die resultaat is nie ver van Ciabatta af nie.
1kg Bread Flour + extra to dust
1 Tablespoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Yeast
950ml Lukewarm Water
- For the bread, combine flour, salt and yeast in a large bowl. Stir in water until well combined. Cover with plastic wrap, then refrigerate overnight.
- Remove bowl from fridge 1 hour prior to cooking, and allow to come to room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 220°C.
- Line two baking sheets with baking paper, and generously dust sheet with flour. Place half of the dough onto one tray and place in oven for 1 hour or until golden, and the inside sounds hollow when knocked on the base. Make rolls and a smaller long loaf with remaining half of dough. Bake in oven for about 40 minutes or until golden and hollow inside.

Ek het myself geleer sourdough brood bak tydens lockdown laasjaar. Hier is 'n 100% Rye brood, roosterkoeke met wit meel en roosterkoeke met volgraan meel.

Funny story Francois . I have made a name for myself but iyes I am a funny guy with a cell phone qwerty keyboard that gives a funny output. I send a PM to Dirk to please change my forum name as u had a Pajero before and the name had some Pajero in it. I send Dirk an PM asking him to change my forum name to : The Stallion or if available just Stallion. His reply to me: Your name has now changed to the Thessaloniki.
I was shocked and it was very funny . I have made the decision to keep this as its very unique.
Hope the post make sense and the keyboard has not taken over. Funny thing is that I am an IT director.They don't call me the stallion for nothing.

Twee koppies meel gesif
Tussen 3/4 tot twee koppies water (meng en voeg water tot slap)
Een pakkie yeast
Halwe teelepel sout
Sif meel sout en yeast...meng dit so bietjie
Meng dan water by tot slapdeeg
Hou dit in mengbak en maak toe, laat gis vir so 5 tot 6 ure teen kamertemp.
As dit n warm dag is, sit dit eerder oornag is die yskas.
Na gis verby is...vou deeg, draai bak, vou deeg
Gooi in pot, verhit oond na 180°c vooraf. Bak brood vir 45min.
