    What went wrong Steady? If you have a photo of the end product I can try and help. I think there are very few bread disasters that didn't happen to me. I produced more than a few doorstops in the beginning. I have chucked away a few creatures from the deep that bore no resemblance to bread dough by the time I was finished with them.

    Twee koppies meel gesif
    Tussen 3/4 tot twee koppies water (meng en voeg water tot slap)
    Een pakkie yeast
    Halwe teelepel sout

    Sif meel sout en yeast...meng dit so bietjie
    Meng dan water by tot slapdeeg

    Hou dit in mengbak en maak toe, laat gis vir so 5 tot 6 ure teen kamertemp.
    As dit n warm dag is, sit dit eerder oornag is die yskas.

    Na gis verby is...vou deeg, draai bak, vou deeg
    Gooi in pot, verhit oond na 180°c vooraf. Bak brood vir 45min.
    Kyk elke 15min hoe die brood lyk(nie almal se oond is dieselfde)

    Klont botter
    Meng met lou water en knie deeg tot elastiesLaat rys tot so dubbel van oorspronklike volume .
    Maak bolletjies en pak in rondte swartboom pot . Bak oor koel vir 50 minute.
