Like some others have said above, I only buy secondhand, so the choice is limited.

To me the colour of the car doesn't really matter that much, other than not liking very dark colours. But if I get a car at a very good price, even dark colours are fine.

I like the newer army style colors the new Hiluxes are wearing, the greeny beige ones and the browny green ones..

The same car will look stunning in one color, and crap in another.

As i couldn't choose the color of my second hand Nissan, I had to settle for silver. Don't mind the color. Bush rash shows easy, but nothing a bit of elbow grease cannot solve.

But when I bought my Xtrail new, I went with a charcoal grey. I like a semi darkish color. I don't care much for heat collection due to a darker color. Most cars these days comes with something they call a aircon.

A white SUV with tinted windows looks absolutely stunning. But I would never buy a white car new.

For me it is white, only owned white and will most likely continue to do so.

    But.....

I would not mind having a 2.8 Legend in this color

Being biased the Mazda red is also very pretty (when it is clean )

Swambo has a red CX5 (What can I say the women is into red), and this looks very good on the car.

That red does suit it particularly well, especially in very bright sunlight. That intensity is gorgeous.

In general that red only looks good on very big cars to me.

If I like a specific colour on a vehicle then that's what I buy. Soap water and polish, keep it just the way I want it

So is that the final colour and not just the undercoat?

I saw a GP registered gold plated Range Rover in Cape Town, Tableview this morning. Similar to this:

Do people have any self respect at all?

It was an abject thing of horror.

Sure its gold plated? Not just wrapped in gold coloured vinyl? But yes, equally ugly.

Default Vehicle Colour - How important is it to you?

Outrageous colours only work on Jeep Wranglers and Lamborghini's

Ferrari's in red, same with Alfa Romeo

Bentley's in metallic British racing green with tan leather and walnut interior

Range Rover black with dark tinted windows

Ford Mustangs in Ford blue with the white GT stripe of course!

All others in White or Silver only!
