Default Gas Geyser Suppliers & Advice

It appears that trying to find a gas geyser supplier in the Durban area is like pulling teeth out of a chicken.

    1st Question.
Does anyone know of a brick & mortar shop where I can go inside and physically see the products and accessories regarding a gas geyser?
    Greater Durban area.

    Question 2.
Has anyone on the forum have any feedback or knowledge of the Dewhot RS20 gas geyser?
It is a locally manufactured in SA gas geyser.

    Question 3.
Does anyone have feedback on the Kwikot Gasmate 20 litre?

We installed a dewhot about 5 years ago. It serves the kitchen and laundry and has been performing without a problem.

    Would recommend it any time.

Does the Gasmat 20L Kwikot have an exhaust on the top? I am on the look out for a nice small geyser to install in the utility box of the gullwing where the shower cubicle will be? This Gasmat looks like the prefect option. Will run water from a 95L tank via a pressure pump to the geyser.

Hi Gerhard the Gasmate's exhaust is the slit you can see on its front side https://www.kwikot.com/products/dome...mate-20-litres

Note this is a larger domestic unit. It will empty your 95 l tank in less than 5 minutes (20l per minute). It runs on domestic pressure water 4 bar and requires up to 2.5kg gas per hour.

Rather look at the smaller 4l dewhots for camping...
