Yes it was at about 12.3V by the time I added the 220V charger. The 220V charger has a max of about 6A. The panel can supply about 6A as well.

After LS my PV is busy charging a 100Ah lead acid. While charging at a 3A rate I also connected my 220V smart charger and the PV only dropped to 2.9A while the 220V charger charged at 4.5A to provide a 7.4A going to the battery.
Combined powering nice! What Inverter etc do you use? The pwn solar charger and Chinese Inverter you mentioned earlier?

The 12V 7A pulse charger that I have mentioned many times as a great budget unit to use. Intelligent and that for below R200. I can hear those laughing but a lot of users of it are smiling since they bought it.

The controller is a Easton 20A.

My main inverter is a Solis grid tied and my back up a Axpert. I also use a 1500/3000W China pure sine and a China 750/1500W.

My one at home does not show any values so cannot give any accuracy here
Perhaps this video would shed more light on how each charger would sense the SOC and charge accordingly.
