Not sure I like the second row seats.

Makes it a 6 seater no? Or do you then cram 3 people on the smaller third row?

All the vehicles seem to look the same these days. I still prefer my shape.

Strange how taste differ. I love the idea that if you have 2 passengers they are going to have nice wide seats. Anything more and it will be cramped.

    Yup.

If my kids were both teens, I would take these seats any day. Maybe when they older this sort of PF is released here.

But small kids like a bench seat to play on while cruising in the game parks. More space for their toys.

I've read that we will not be getting the Pathfinder but rather the X-Terra (Navara based)

Pity as the Pathfinder looks a lot better, but would have been too pricey probably?

There is a definite resemblance. But I prefer the Pathfinders rear quarter. I am not a big fan of the ass in the air Land Rover rear-end.

If we add the new Defender to the mix I am seeing a trend to this shape which I thought the Japanese designers would avoid.

The second row is whats referred to as captain seats in the US. Quite popular in full sized SUV's over there.

I read somewhere it's a monocoque body, not chassis based, for the USA market.

The x Terra is a Navara based SUV (Like the old Pathy was).
