    Default Monkey proof ammo boxes

    In Punda Maria.
The monkeys make life very unpleasant. Need 4 sets of eyes! Need to keep every thing locked up as they are most opportunistic. Even when braaing, every thing must be locked up as they go behind your back as quick as a flash.
They even know how to open standard ammo boxes.

So would welcome suggestions on monkey proof ammo boxes

BTW: Land at Punda is very wet. Water everywhere. Makes viewing very difficult. Temperature around 20c at lunch

Will a rubber snake on top of the ammo box not do the trick?

Works for baboons for a while, not for monkeys - they suss it out in 10 seconds flat.

My ammo boxes have those plastic sliding locks on the lids. They might eventually figure that out too, but we havent had issues so far.
