    Default Dealer recommendation

    Hi Guys,

I want to buy a new Jimny GLX Auto, preferably in Pretoria (although Joeburg area also fine). Do you have a recommendation for a dealer that's worth his salt? Would rather give someone the go that has helped / proven his worth to other members.

Btw, will bring some nice stuff to pimp the car from Europe; they have some interesting gadgets over here. Since looking around I have found that the tuning scene / aftermarket offers (especially in Germany) for the Jimny his huge

My friend is Dp in Bloem and might be able to do a good deal and deliver for you..Dont just look at dealers close to home
That said stock on these are low and dealers are not offering to great a deal on them due to them selling so fast.
Also,I drove the auto and manual and although i love autos I would chose the manual jimny

Thanks, will do. Jimny is for the missus, and she'll adapt easier (being used to driving on the wrong side of the road) with an auto.

But will gladly look around in a wider area; price wise I know that I won't be scoring any discounts (but hey, the car's worth it and not too expensive anyway )

Need the car in December only, so hope that 6 months should be ok in scourcing one.

Thanks for the info concerning Suzuki Kyalami, send an email to Gerrie and received a personalised answer 15 minutes later.

That kind of service impresses me and gives a good feeling to go forward with such a jacked up dealership

I can vouch for Bramley branch. Daughter bought her Suzuki there. Sales manager is Mario (IIRC).

I haven't dealt with Suzuki Kyalami on the sales side but used to take my GV there for maintenance and always got very good service.

Which dealership in CT would you guys recommend for new and servicing of Suzuki vehicles? And on a side-line, do they normally on a new car perform a 1000/1500 km "running in" service or wait the full 10,000/15,000/ 1 year interval before doing at least an oil and filter change?

I don't think running in service is required on modern cars. I never had to take my cars in for that.

The Tableview branch is very good. I`ve had my Vitara serviced there.

Just for interest sake: ordered a new Jimny today from Suzuki Centurion; they were really the only one who made a quick, fair and detailed quote.

Still waiting for quotes from 2 dealers who never replied, 2 others made offers that sort of suggested that they are not really interested in selling a new car.

I'm very happy with the service received so far from Centurion.

Speak to FWM (Willie Knoetze) on this forum. He is at Suzuki Roodepoort.

If you do not a good deal from him we all will be all over him.
