Trip report: crossing the DRC by public transport

Really fantastic, thank you so much for sharing. That is some proper traveling! There are so few reports from the DRC, it is great to see yours, and I really appreciate your observations on culture, potential, and how life works in the remote places you have visited. I also loved the boat trip in Zambia, a good adventure.

Also very interesting to hear and contemplate the covid-19 precautions or attitudes you encountered. There aren't many travelers posting reports (I suppose because there aren't many travelers right now), but I have been pretty surprised that of the few that are posting videos or reports there has been ZERO observations on covid. Such a unique time to be traveling it almost seems like there is a responsibility to record what you see (not trying to add work for you!). I visited years ago with a few friends. We have traveled extensively up and down the Kei coast, and Bulugula was by far the best little spot we found, as well as xhora mouth.
