    Default JK tyre pressure monitor.

I was driving along and my tyre pressure monitor gong sounded.
I stopped and checked all the pressures and they were all above 2bar. Even the spare is 1.8bar.
    Gong still sounds.
    Any ideas

Normally goes off below 2.2 bar if you haven't changed it with something like a Procal or JScan app

If you have standard tyres pump all to 2.4 Bar ,drive a few Ks and it should go off.
You can drop they tyre pressure again to 2.3 bar.

I usually pump the front tyres to 2.2 and the back tyres to 2 bar or even 1.8bar for comfort around town.
I will pump them all to 2.5 tomorrow and see what happens.
    Will let you know.

    Default JK tyre pressure monitor.

If you are running the tyre pressures that low if the outside temperature dropped over night it can trigger the TPMS.

I've pumped them up to 2.5 and driven a few km but the gong remains. Will give it time.

So in Swambo's 2014 Cherokee, we have had a similar issue. Tyres pumped to 2.4 and front right giving low pressure warning.... which should only warn at 1.7..

After some googling I did the following..
    1. Let tyre down to below the warning level and drive a bit.
    2. Pump it up hard way over the normal pressure and drive a bit. This should clear it.
    3. Set pressure back to normal.

I've had this issue twice in the past year and this cleared it. Hope it helps.

If you have a tyre pressure gauge check them again yourself.

The thing is I don't know which tyre is giving trouble.
I best let the all down to about 1.2 and drive to the filling station and then pump them to 2.8 and see what happens

I have picked up a few slow leaks caused by the tyre picking up metal debris . They were all on one of the back tyres.
If that has happened you should be able to find where the metal penetrated the tyre.

It's nearly always the left back tyre.
My tyres are all holding pressure.

Ive had a similar issue on the jk. On the jscan app you can set the pressure at which you want the chime.

Otherwise try 2.5 all round incl spare. Disconnect the battery for 30 min to reset computer and see if your chime goes away.

    Report back.
I let all 4 tyres down to 1.3 and rode about 5km then pumped them up to 2.8.
I've traveled about 10km but the warning and the gong still persist.
Maybe it just needs time to think.

OK I disconnected the battery for 40 minutes and then reconnected it.
    No go
Gong still sounds once and warning light flashes.
I think it must be one of the valve sensors.
Anyway I'll ride it like that for a while maybe it will readjust itself.
    Thanks for all your input.

From what I can gather it is probably a faulty sensor or a dead battery in one of the sensors.

    Sorted at last.
I had each wheel sensor checked and the one at the right back was not giving a reading, spare ok as well.
So I put the spare on and bingo the light has gone out.
The system does not pic up the faulty spare.
I'll wait for the next one to pack up then I'll order 2 sensors
