    Default Battery Charger

What batttery charger to use for my 105ah deltec battery.
I want to replace my benton bx1 but not sure with what.
Looking at the victron blue smart 15amp one.
Will that charger work or any other recommendations will help.

What ever you choose, a trickle charge function on the charger is always an advantage.

Some time ago there were good reports on the Midas intelligent chargers on the forum. I think something like PSA008. Fluffy had good things to say about them.

This is a "how long is a piece of string" question.
What technology is the battery (crank, deep cycle, lead crystal etc.), and what is the usage (long-term maintenance or fast charging)?

The victron is a great choice - different profiles for different battery types, a Bluetooth monitoring and configuration capability, solid reputation...

    I have 2 PSA008 - excellent.

Had a Ctek - was not impressed.

My next charger will be a Victron - lots of features.

There has got to be a reason why Bush Lapa only use Victron chargrs and solar controllers in their caravans and campers.
You are in Paarl, go chat to them.
