In terms of a %, how many times have you received the right product, at the right time, in the right condition, in the right quantity?

I have different outcomes in terms of the content of my purchase in terms of delivery time, I found that the more items included the more likely that the agreed delivery date will not be met because I end up waiting for one or two items to arrive at the warehouse before delivery can be made.

I had to choose between 90% and 100%. I chose 100% because my experience over many parcels is much closer to 100 than 90.

Maybe the choices should be less granular.

Which is where Takelot differ from others. Geewiz for example drop ships, so if I order a widget supplier by company X, they get company x to ship direct to me.

With Takealot, mostly they ship to the central warehouse first and then re-direct to you. Late shipments in my experience are only late relative to my expectations, not what is promised.

In perspective: 9 years - 231 Orders - Total R130K - Average order R566.00

Everything from PPE to Coffee to kids toys, big boys toys, Computer and music equipment. Mix of personal and business.

Of the 231 I can only remember 2 or 3 bad apples, but there where probably a few more.

I got the wrong item once out of 38 orders. Always on time or earlier than the mentioned delivery date when placing the order.

Generally earlier. One order had one item although two of them were ordered. Packing mistake by an outside supplier. Additional item was supplied quickly. No impact on us as the 2nd delivery was early enough.

An other item they do quickly is to send VAT invoice. I need those for the company buys.

I am a fairly frequent Take A Lot user, and thus far 100%! Whether its delivery or collection, usually before time. And on the few occasions I have had to return faulty/under performing goods, never a problem.

Have always had good service. I’m just very weary of the product reviews that get done. Seem some dodgy ones that made me question the authenticity of them.

I generally try to get a avg of the reviews on an item.

But recently, while looking for a item, it had two reviews.

First review went something like this:

Excellent product. Easy to use. No problems.

Second review:

Absolute garbage. Difficult to use.

Back in the day I used to use Takealot a lot when they still had real bargain daily deals, but these days not so much. I still have brand new in the box items which I bought as spares because it was super cheap, just the other day I found a Cadac cooker top as well as a couple LED lights still boxed in one of my cupboards.
I can't remember ever really waiting for a delivery longer than the estimated date, maybe a day or 2 but nothing hectic.
The best delivery time I ever had was same day, it was with a Stanley flask, ordered the morning and received late the same afternoon and I'm not even in CT, you no longer get that from them these days.

I chose 80% in the pole because of a couple returns, I never received the wrong item, but have received clearly opened used and dirty items, also opened and broken items. The worst was with a slow cooker, the first one had the wrong lid, I sent it back asking for a new one and they just sent back the exact same one, then I sent it back again asking for another and this time I received a open box one without a lid, I then rather asked for my money back.

I have been living in sin the last week or so. Not taking lunch en then ordering Uber eats or Mr.DFood (takelot indirectly) in moments of weakness. I can tell you this. Uber eats is much much better than Mr. D....

But I do not want to complain to much as I should not be ordering at all. Should be stale provitas with a splash of cheese for me...
