Default Two burner high pressure gas stove

I'm looking for a high pressure two burner stove for our caravan
The Alva GCS05 or Cadac units would be perfect but I cannot fine any stock anywhere.

Does anyone know where I could buy either of these two stoves?
    Thanks.

You might be able to find the Cadac at Pick n Pay or Checkers. Alternatively if you can/want to spend a bit more, get one of these.

    Thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately the Cadac unit is low pressure and I want high pressure.

I'm designing and building and new kitchen for our (new) caravan so I have the freedom of changing my mind.
I've decided to install a high pressure cooker top (a bog standard gas bottle cooker top) and next to that I'm installing an electric induction cooker plate.

Best of both worlds - gas and electricity.
    Happy wife.

Silly question, what is the advantage of the high pressure vs low pressure? Thanks

I may be wrong but I understand they stopped making the high pressure portable stocves for safety reasons. This was a few year ago already.
Has anyone purchased a high pressure stove recently?

I suspect high pressure stove will handle wind better.
BUT, how do I know it is a high pressure product? Wind is really the nemesis of my current gas stove.

My trailer came with a Cadac High-pressure 2-burner stove. Had quite a bit of issues with blocked jets. This was changed to a Low-pressure stove, based on those 2-plate cast iron burners and never had a days problems for the past 10 years+.

I think this is a excellent way to go with the caveat that the induction plate automatically comes with a big enough inverter to feed it along with a upgrade to the rest of the electrical system.

With that being said we personally do a minimal amount of cooking on the caravan gas stove, so something like this won't be for everyone.
On the other hand if looking at what we do in the house I might be tempted to drop the gas all together and only go induction, since having the induction plate in the kitchen our gas stove gets used less and less, it's a saveiour during load shedding though.

I bought a high pressure Alva about two years ago - was from Outdoor Warehouse if I remember correctly

Thanks but 2 years ago isn't really recently

That is relative, I suppose. How long is a few years?

You wrote "I may be wrong but I understand they stopped making the high pressure portable stocves for safety reasons. This was a few year ago already."

It's a pity if they stopped making them - they work really well. Taking safety to modern levels is a bit ridiculous, having to cater for those with no logic or low IQ. The previous generations survived fine without these, and new safety measures in eg motor vehicles has not reduced accidents in this country.

I see you are sorted, but this might help somebody else.

Available from Pretoria Caravans / Campworld although a bit pricy...
