    You can compare a proper oil analysis to blood tests in humans.

    It tells you the whole story of what is happening in your engine.

    It is amazing to see how an engine and the oil respond to different conditions like short distance driving versus long distance

    Petrol vs diesel engines etc.

    Also works a charm on transmissions and diffs as well as hydraulics.

    As you mention, a client uses it to determine fleet rotations between fumctikns at the same location. Machines allocated to different functions exhibit different wear patterns, failures and require different services and intervals. The oil analysis highlights all of this. Powerful stuff

    Iím quite keen to send off a sample from the next oil change on my Cruiser, see if it indicates a necessity to change oil brand or viscosity.
