Default My Jeep Cherokee KJ Build

    Hi Guys,

So I bought this Jeep a little by accident, but paid very low price for it with papers etc.
Obviously it needed work, but I was too happy to use it for content on my Youtube channel.

I would love to get advice soon from everyone here, I will probably need it.

Go check out my First video of the Jeep here:

    https://youtu.be/ecYBowNf7aE

You will see the state its in.

I have made a few mistakes, but this is how we learn.

What engine do you guys think I should put in? I dont mind not having 4x4 as I also have my JKU for playing. This is purely a daily driver in the making.

Not really, I have found this forum lately looking on engine conversions etc. So soon will be asking advice etc. There is a specific member on here that I have many questions for.

This thread is afterall a build thread? This is how I share my builds? If thats not up to standard, please feel free to delete.

I am not a fan of 2wd Jeeps, also, perhaps the KJ isn't as difficult as some of the more modern cars, but generally engine swaps are more trouble then they are worth, unless you know something we don't

Good luck. I suspect fitting the Lexus into the Jeep's engine bay is going to be tricky!

    I will follow with interest!

    Thank you,

It is quite a trick, I found the worst part is finding a radiator to fit. Also to note, I removed the front diff, so this would be rwd only, to keep cost down, I also own a Wrangler JKU, which is kitted for my offroading and camping, so I dont need another 4x4.

Thank you for the interest. I appreciate it

Well done! Be careful of running that engine without coolant. Good luck!
