I saw with shock a video on Youtube showing 20" or 22" wheels on the new MU-X. Heaven forbid, what were the makers thinking? Can these be had with dear old 16" or 17" wheels with higher profile rubber?

What are the best all-terrain tyres for the dirt roads, rocks and sand in Northern Cape from Kgalagadi to Groenriviermond and pretty everything else in between?

And how well do these fare in general, what would be a good average fuel consumption when driven with circumspection? How do they compare to Pajero Sport, Everest and Fortuner in real life?

Have you tried the Aus Isuzu forum? They like going to smaller rims and bigger wall tyres.
