Geez. It has been a crazy week. Super happy it is Friday...

Anyways, if you are travelling to or throught Harties (or anywhere), please do not buy the wood (or anything) next to the road.

    Have a lekker one.

    A long weekend. Yay.

If you're travelling to / through Harties (or anywhere, really), do not buy the wood (or anything, really) next to the side of the road.

Have a lekker one. And if you're travelling, travel safe.

Just know that the repeated bumps on here don't go unnoticed, I for one verbally remind a lot of people to not buy wood there.

I even catch myself telling people not to buy wood next to Harties, otherwise this computer hacker is gonna come along and wipe out your pension fund.

And no one even goes near Harties.

    Both your comments are noted.

Edit: Actually Kevin. I am happy Etienne spreads the word. So I would not use the term "noted". It's a passive aggressive GFYS.

I'm wondering, what do you think is more detrimental to the environment in Harties, the illegal wood harvesting industry or cloud seeding and chemtrails from nearby Lanseria Airport?

Or the pollution from the jukskei etc...

But please. Do not mention chemtrails. Or the flat earthers, tinfoil hat and lizard folk are going to mess up my thread...

Pretty sure Dewald is joking. Probably an offshoot of the recent "weather changes in Bethlehem" thread and the reason I sport a new profile photo depicting several things I actually despise.

That thread was a trainwreck form the start.

    So in summary

Dont Buy wood from the side of the road, anywhere.
Its wet, it wont start, its destroying the local environment. The firelighters will be more expensive than the wood "Savings"

A very late thread bump. But I was on the road to Dinokeng from early morning, then work stuff and just got back to Pretoorsdorp now to collect my daughter after school in a bit. Since schools are closed next week, the traffic on the N1 has already picked up quite a bit... If you're travelling travel safe.

Anyways, wherever you go, don't buy anything (wood specifically) next to the road (anywhere, but Harties specifically).

    Have a lekker one.

Just in case Ian has already left for the bundu, and it is not Friday yet, and I see many on the road...wherever you go, don't buy anything (wood specifically) next to the road (anywhere, but Harties specifically).

Thanks. Still here. But no bundu for me this weekend, and I reckon that anybody who has sense would have left for the bundu last week.... So I did not bother bumping it...

Sorry - I am man down with flu at the moment. Man - this year's flu is rough...

But thanks for the thread bump. If you're travelling to / through Harties (or anywhere, actually) this weekend please don't buy the wood (or anything, actually) next to the road.

Man flu. Poor Liana. I'll have a moment of silence.

But I'll spare you a thought too.
