As far as I understand you may take pictures of anybody in public areas without their consent. They have no reasonable expectation to privacy. However, if you publish the picture and add some implication like this guy is buying illegal ***** and therefor is a criminal, you might have a problem.

Well you can put up a sign along the road that states: Wood sold along this road is suspected stolen/poached wood from the natural bush on the mountain.......

In time for tomorrow's bump. My father and I bought a helluva lot of these today at Chamberlains:

    https://www.chamberlains.co.za/bakga...rdwood-1076110

Bakgat Alldays Bushveld wood. Very nice, dry, excellent coals. I usually buy at my local garage for R36 a bag, so at the current price at Chamberlains (R26) we took as many as we could fit into the back of my bakkie!

(It's cheaper than ordering from them directly, not sure how).

I buy my Thabazimbi wood from Freeway garage next to DeWildt 4x4. Alberto doesn't buy pirated wood.

    Thanks Stephan and Jakes.

    My generic Friday thread bump.

If you're travelling through Harties, please:

    1: Travel safely.
2: Leave your bicycle at home (https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum...the-Masochists).
3: Don't buy the wood next to the road. It is poached wood.

    Thanks. Lekker naweek almal.

    Goeie idee

Eindlik is die probleem groter as net by Harties.

Friday Reminder - Dont support these criminals. Dont buy the wood next to the road!!!

I saw two guys yesterday putting some in their packed bakkie, obviously going camping for the weekend. Good luck to them trying to cook their meat on that stuff! This illegal wood makes no coals anyway.
