It is still unfder warrentee and the ford dealer did say it still needs to go to the workshop, has not yet been there since they got it in. Also the bumper's alignment is out.
They said they will fix everything though.
The shudder on pull off is standard equipment they all do it.

    So
I opted for a new DC XLT ranger 4x4

But as usual(with me) there are some issues.

so after collection once back at my shop i gave the vehicle a solid once over
found that the driverside fender was removed at some stage.
also found a fold / line in the fender.
also slightly in so that the alignment silghtly out of alignment
the paint finish also not what it should be.
looking like a poor spray job

returned to the dealer and after a back and forth for almost week....
i was told that they can have my new car sprayed and panelbeated to repair it.

obviousely i was not happy with this and took this matter to ford sa

FordSA - came back a week later telling me that this damage did not happen at the factory so the dealer must sort it out

so now i am waiting for the dealer to contact me today and come up with a solution

one thing is clear they do not intend to replace this vehicle

so according to fordsa and the dealer you can buy a repaired vehicle at the price of a new one!!

So it looks like i am going to stuck with this due to the factory or the dealer not doing what they were suppose to

PS i told the salesman i am rather opting for a new vehicle because i do not want to be stuck with paint issues later on since i have a valet centre and my vehicle is a advertisement for my bussiness

o and the onbutsman said i should first deal with ford before i file simething with them

I think you have 30 days where you can insist that they take the car back, and cancel the deal. They have to cancel if you insist.

    Go see a lawyer

I could potentially give you a long answer, however I am not going to do that.

Short and sweet... Request a complete replacement vehicle. If they won't replace it, go straight to the ombudsman. I am sure I do not need to tell you this, but document absolutely everything. There is no way, a zero % chance that I would accept a new vehicle if it had had panel work (crease in steel) and spray work done on it between manufacture and delivery to myself.

all this was done and the next step is to here what the DP has to say.
I have spoken to the ombudsman and followed his recommendation.

if you have taken delivery at the dealer there is no cool off period.

    +1

Don't wait, and don't let them waste time. Just request it and if they say no, then go straight to ombudsman.

My cousin bought a new(ish) Ford Fiesta, at first service it turned out car had no airbags. Looked like a botch repair from a crash. Dealer refused to take it back but in the end he did.
