    Default GT Off-road Camper trailers

Has anyone here had experience of, or an opinion on, the GT Off-Road Camper Trailer? The fact that one doesn't have to climb a ladder to get into bed is very appealing and we are looking to change our current set up for something like this. Any recommendations, please?

We seriously considered one two years ago and visited the factory in Pretoria but eventually bought a second hand Summit Everest for half the price of a new GT Camper. But the GT looked fine and has the hard floor which is unique. Could not justify the price of buying new and none came up on the second hand market.

Just bought a GT Spider today - second hand, but almost brand new.

Now to fit water tank, pump, geyser.
Want to move spare wheel to under the rear belly.
Looking for others who have extended the awning/tent ?

looking forward to all comments , suggestions.

This looks interesting. Can one person put it up or is it a 2 person job?

Can be done solo, bit of effort but no worse than a normal dome ground tent.

I'm just waiting for the weather to start warming up then I will be taking the family( shared between everyone) GT camper Libre out for our first trip with just the missus and the kids.

I have set up and folded down the camper by myself. Would be quicker with two persons. But no problem , just walking around a few times to tuck all the tent in when folding up. The air-struts do a very good job of holding the lid slightly open when tucking in the tent.
