    Bumping this ....
Come on good folk let's make this happen.
If Markus and Zelda are prepared to drive all the way from Langebaan to KZN for a long weekend then I think that us "locals" can somehow maak n plan.
Besides, I want to check if Peter's Pan is being well cared for and suitably utilized ... i.e. At GTG's, especially for breakfast after the night before !
    Just saying.

We will have to unfortunately pass on this weekend - it's our yearly weekend in Tembe Game Reserve. Would have loved to attend.

    Hi Petri,

The weekend is planned for Friday the 24th September and plan is to do this in Umlalazi (Mtunzini) or Richards Bay caravan park.

That is if forward planning is still possible in these days.

    Needing an update on this.
We are planning to do a trial run of the partially completed Slipstream alterations, and total change in style of "camping" and would like to attend the GTG if still on the cards.
Otherwise considering a two or three night stay at Eagles View near Wartburg around that time.
Flexible on exact days / dates, just not at month end or shortly after.

If you stay at Eagles View, you will have to drop past and say hi - I'm only about 5km from there. I will only be back in the last week of this month though from CT

Hi everyone, I have been offline for a while due to my laptop giving up the ghost, I have asked Marais to see what the feeling was from the people regarding this weekend, can we get a final update as to who can and wants to attend this weekend, the last suggestion was from Hester to have to here in Richardsbay caravan park, there is a lot of camping space here.
Should people still decide to do this trip, then lets make it happen, I need to know as well as I am about to move back to Queensburgh at the end of the month and would like to stay for the GTG if it's going to happen.

Can we get a vote of who wants to and can make it here for the weekend of the 24th of September, can we ask that only people that are going to the GTG reply to this to keep it as short as possible.

I thank you all very much and will contact Hester regarding this.

Richards Bay caravan park has space available to allow the 4x4Community group to camp together in one area. Once I receive the information for the the caravan park, I will publish the info here and everyone can make their own bookings.

For a day trip, we will take a drive through the dunes and spend some time on the beach before returning to camp.

Everything seems to be a go ahead for the 24th in Richardsbay, myself, Hester, Marais and possibly Bospatrollie are going to be there so the more people can make it, the better. Remember, this is a family forum.

Hi everybody, at this stage we have 6 families coming for the weekend, anyone still interested to join in can do so, there is still quite a bit of space in the caravan park here in Richardsbay. Call them and make your own bookings and just tell them that you are part of the Community Forum so that we can all be in the same block.
