Road Updates

Good afternoon folkses.

I'm heading out Namibia side in a few weeks. I was hoping that somebody could explain the condition of the following roads to me. I know that various roads on this list were pretty badly damaged during the heavy rains, and some were even closed, but the last update I can find seems to date from January. I have no idea what conditions are like now.

C10 between Grunau and Ais-Ais.
C37 between Ais-Ais and Aussenkehr.
C13 between Aussenkehr and Rosh Pinah.
C13 between Aus and Helmeringhausen.
C27 between Helmeringhausen and Sesriem.
C19 between Sesriem and Maltahohe.
C14 between Maltahoe and Goageb.
C12 between Seeheim and Grunau.
C37 between Grunau and Ais-Ais.

Vehicles are two Patrols for the majority of the trip, although a Subaru AWD platkar thing will be joining us from Ais-Ais on the way back to Ariamsvlei. In short: bad conditions are not really a problem, but I would prefer to avoid roads which are closed.

Ian, I don't know the latest condition of those roads, but what I do know is that if you point your Patrol's nose North and keep it there for about 1200km, you'll eventually end up having a beer with me.

I've done pretty much most of Southern Namibia, so my focus has actually been further North. My parents have not really seen much of the South, and asked me to put a trip together for them while my sister hikes the Fish River Canyon. As such, we're pretty much stuck time-wise or I would have pointed the Patrol's nose North...
