Don't know if anyone had this beer on-tap before. Hermanus Brewery Old Harbour Beer. It's everything I love in a Beer and more. If you are in the Hermanus area in a restaurant or pub, really give this a go. It's really very good.

Had that for the first time at "The Corner Cafe" in Randburg. Epic beer, can order directly off their site.

The First Wife and I took a bit of a meandering dawdle yesterday and ended up here, purely by accident. One of the owners is quite strange but the ale is very good. Grub and the Chili is superb, try the orange one for full flavour and mix with the chopped chilis. Lots of shade to while away a pleasant afternoon.
Their Cowboy Candy chilli preserve is extremely addictive. As well as the chilli beetroot. Even though the beer is good we go back for the chilli.

Stopped by there for a beer or two and something to eat on the way back from camping. Jakes' and Elbies' beer is next level. Food is good and we left with some chilli-type-preserves stuff too.

Wife brought these 2 back from Germany, they are delightful.

Found this today, wonderfully crisp and light. This will go down by the liters in summer. Brewed in Robertson

I found it quite underwhelming. They went the American hops way, and to me it's overwhelmingly hoppy with little body to back it up. They should have used more malt, or mashed higher, or used adjuncts to balance it a bit more.
