Hi All,
I am hoping to get some great tried and tested information, which in my opinion is the BEST! No one trying to palm off their products.
So here goes....
What is the best paint brand for exterior walls? Which is the worst paint brand that i need to avoid like a pandemic? I am looking at a green grey (SAGE) colour. It must have good depth of colour, easy application, must withstand the elements, and not fade after 5-7 years.
Anything locally, that is on par with the American paint brand "Sherwin Williams"?
I welcome all comments, as i am eager to find out everything, so please do share! Thanks in advance.

I painted my house with Plascon Nu Roof.
Best decision ever, colour selection is limited but the paint quality is fantastic vs Micatex (poor) and comparable with Wall and All at 70% of the cost.
For walls in and out I still use the longstanding Plascon Polvin product - basic white, washable and tinted to whatever colour if required.
And no, I do not have any shares in Plascon !!!!
I have found it to be a good product and within a "reasonable" price bracket.

Best brand is probably the prep beforehand. I used plascon for my roof. Very happy. But I am also very happy with the Dulux I used inside
I've had great results with Dulux Weatherguard for my exterior walls.
I stick to Prominent on the inside, have done for 15 years. Extremely good quality and washable, covers really good. Not the cheapest.
Roof - Plascon Nu Roof (actually busy painting my roof now, excellent quality), stay away from Micatex.
Outside walls - can't comment, always had face brick.
Outside is facebrick, tile roof was sprayed by a company so I don't know the brand of paint. Inside we are very happy with Plascon Double Velvet.
