Does anyone perhaps know how many MU-Xs have been sold in SA?

Not sure about 2018 and 2019 but if I am not mistaken then about 350 were sold in 2020.

Can't be too many, quite a shame though.

There's only about 5 used ones available in the Western cape.

    I have an itch though...

I believe they will soon be releasing a major update with a more powerful / upgraded engine? I was on a Cederberg 4x4 trip last year where one of our group members drove one, no issues at all, very capable.

I've been obsessed with the MUX lately. Even my wife is a big fan now. Very close to pulling the trigger but feel I still need to save a little on the deposit first (don't want a big monthly debit order).

Regarding the new one coming out, speculation is that they will be available next year. Would love to get the new one but I'm sure it's going to be way too expensive for me (current new one is way to expensive for me too) so will go for current model.

At the moment I'm dreaming for more or less a 2018/2019 with about 50k kms. 2x4 seem too go for around R460k on Autotrader (they were about R420k last year). I've seen one 4x4 at sub R500k.

Sorry for my ramblings, just get excited by the vehicle

Pricing will probably get better as the time gets closer to the new one's arrival.

A while ago, there was a nice 2.8 LTZ Trailblazer in cars.co.za N1 City area with about 50k on the odo and I can recall that the price was good, sadly still out of reach, otherwise I would have picked it up. 4x4 auto box

Sitting with the same problem very limited stock floating around. Me and wifey went and test drove, Fortuner, Everest and MUX. Out of the 3 wife was sold on Mux (surprised). Busy selling my "platkar" and will then look for one.

Yeah you just have to be patient if you can look over a month or two chances are a good one will pop up.
