    Hi everyone,

    Found this guy hanging out in the cycads. Anyone know what it is? Has some nice patterns.

    Thats usually the wife the hubby usually much smaller and inconspicuous waiting for a gap and avoid being breakfast!

    Hey I also discovered one of these in my garden a few weeks ago. Away from the house and not venomous, so I'm letting it do it's thing. It's still there, I checked on it yesterday. Beautiful guy.

    These two were the same size on two different webs about 5cm apart. Looked like they have a cookie cutter complex going on.

    It's a Golden Orb spider (as it is known, or as 4eTouareg said).

    Quite harmless, but can give you a painful bite.

    The females are big... the males are tiny in comparison.
