Default 2014 Pajero Sport 2.5 auto advice

    Greetings everyone.

I've been a lurker for a long time but I'm ready to get into some light off-roading and circumstance would have it that I need to get a new set of wheels.

Searching around I have found a late 2014 Pajero Sport 2.5 auto 4x2 with about 70k km. I've never really been into the mitsubishi market and know Fortuner/Prado from trips with friends/family. I do not like the fortuner drive all that much with the roll and bumpiness of the ride and so I am trying to find out about the reliability, drive and comfort and maintenance cost of the PS model that I found.

Any advice on what to look out for and general information about this model will be appreciated.

If you are going for light 4x4ing, then maybe you should get an 4x4 and not a 4x2?

    Hi,
Take the engine number and send it to Mitsubishi, they will be able to tell you if that specific car "falls" into those that had overheating issues.
I did this for mine and after tests, they replaced the engine...Free of charge. Mine had 135,000KM at that stage.
This only applied to a very few cars around late 2013/middle 2014... worth a look into.
