Default 0 - 100 in two seconds. New Tesla Roadster. Would you if you could.

Wheel torque 10 000 Nm. I would imagine the components are made of kryptonite.

Nope. Electric whine can be super fast but it still sounds like one of my radio controlled cars.

the guys from the Atom Motor museum in Baynesfield have a radial motor that they start up at the venue, and usually bring to KZN cars in the park....
    that thing running is amazing...

but back to the topic, swapping electric motors into older model cars is something to look forward to...

I am sure all you gas guzzling petrol heads would just love to feel that acceleration your gas guzzler can only dream of.

That is crazy fast! I have driven the Model S Tesla in Ludicrous mode here in Oslo and it gets to 100kph in about 2.5 seconds... sub 2 seconds is just pure insanity!

All kinda pointless in Norway (Tesla's biggest market outside North America) as most roads have speed limits of 80 kph in the majority of the country

Ay, that atom museum on the hill was amazing. Such a shame.. Glad to hear the aero engine is still around though.

Come on, you need to be a bit more adventurous. Surely a speed limit is only a suggestion?

I am sure they can develop an audio feature which sounds like a V10, and is linked to the rpm of the electric motors.
(one gear only will make it a bit weird, though)

ICEís will outlive this generation. Biden is going to make it tough to drive them. But this is the first time I say maybe:

At that level of acceleration, I wonder what kind of G-forces you will be pulling. Wonder how many will pass out before they reach 100kph.

I'm pretty sure we are reaching the limit where the power of acceleration will exceed the strength of your ability to clench your butt cheeks closed.

    Big deal.

I get from 0-100 on the scale in a fraction of that time. Millisecond stuff.
